Attorney Profiles

Linda Love received her J.D. from Willamette University College of Law in 1981. Linda was an associate editor of the Willamette Law Review. She was admitted to the Oregon State Bar and the US District Court of Oregon in 1981. In 2002, she was admitted to the Washington State Bar.

During the first 20 years of her practice, Linda represented more than a thousand injured workers and tried hundreds of cases in hearings before the Workers' Compensation Board. She has also handled personal injury, employment discrimination, and insurance cases. She briefed and argued dozens of cases at the Oregon Court of Appeals and the Oregon Supreme Court. Beginning in 2001, Linda handled the firm's "Fen-Phen" Primary Pulmonary Hypertension (PPH) cases, along with partners Williams and O'Leary. They successfully resolved cases for PPH clients who lived in Oregon, Washington, California, Colorado, Massachusetts, Nevada, Texas, Oklahoma, Michigan, Rhode Island, Ohio, Utah, Louisiana, and New Jersey.  Currently she is helping partners represent plaintiffs suffering from severe shoulder damage in lawsuits against various manufacturers of pain pumps.

Linda Love is active in local legal and political communities. She is on the board of the Campaign for Equal Justice, an organization that will raise a million dollars this year from Oregon lawyers to support legal aid lawyers who provide services to low-income Oregonians.

Linda Love is a member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, Public Justice, and Oregon Women Lawyers. In addition, she is active in the Multnomah County Bar Association's mentorship program.

Linda Love is past President of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, past President of the Oregon Workers' Compensation Attorneys and past President of NARAL Pro-Choice Oregon. She has served in the Oregon State Bar House of Delegates, on the Board of Governors of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, and on the Executive Committee of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Oregon State Bar.
